Australian tennis superstar Ash Barty has announced her engagement to her partner of four years, Garry Kissick.

The number one women’s tennis player in the world shared a sweet post of the couple embracing on Instagram, writing, “Future husband 💍❤️” and tagging her now-fiancé.

Kissick, meanwhile, shared an extra image, alongside the date of their engagement — November 15.

“15/11/2021 💍,” Kissick wrote with his announcement. “I love you [Ash Barty] ❤.”

Kissick’s announcement also included an image of himself gently kissing Barty on the forehead as she beams at the camera and shows off her new bling.

Barty, 25, has been in a relationship with the 30-year-old professional golfer since 2017.

The duo met at the Brookwater Golf Club in 2016, which is the same venue where she won a championship over four years later.

Well-wishers flooded the comments with their congratulations, with the Women’s Tennis Association — where Barty is ranked No. 1 — being one of the first.

“Congratulations, both! ❤️‍🔥,” the Women’s Tennis Association commented.

“Congratulations to you both! 😍 ❤️,” Tennis Australia commented.

Director of the Brisbane Lions Cathie Reid also commented, “Congratulations!!!!” as did fellow tennis player Jaimee Fourlis, who wrote, “OMGGG CONGRATS !!!”

Reality star Reece Hignell wrote, “😭😭😭 congratulations 🎉 such a beautiful way to cap a Stella year. 👏”

Earlier this week, Barty joined the likes of Serena Williams and Martina Navratilova by marking the milestone of holding the year-end No. 1 ranking for the third consecutive time.
