Lisa Rinna‘s mother, Lois DeAndrade Rinna, has died at 93 after suffering a stroke.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 58, announced that her mum had died on November 15.
“Lois DeAndrade Rinna. June 7, 1928 – November 15, 2021 5:05am. Heaven Has a New Angel,” Lisa wrote alongside a photo of Lois on her wedding day.
Lisa’s daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, also paid tribute to her late grandmother by sharing a series of pictures of Lois over the years.
“My guardian angel for the rest of time,” Hamlin wrote. “I love you so much my Lolo… you were and will always be much more than a grandma to me.. you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything.”
“Your laughter never failed to light up any room you ever walked in,” she added. “Anyone who got the pleasure to meet you was so blessed.. there will never be anyone like you. Thank you for being the strength our family needed. Thank you for teaching us what it means to be a strong woman.”
Hamlin also noted that Lois has joined her late husband, Frank Rinna, who died in January 2016. “And just like that.. you’re back with Frank,” she continued.
“I know they’re having a party for you.. and you are dancing your way through heaven… you’ll never be gone.”
Last Thursday, Lisa had revealed her mother had suffered a stroke.
“I know how much you appreciate and LOVE Lois so I need to tell you that she has had a stroke, I am with her now, So lets celebrate her and send her so much love while she transitions,” she wrote at the time.
“I was so conflicted to share this very very sad news with you, but I know you would want to know.”
Lois, who had made several appearances on RHOBH with her daughter, previously had a stroke in 2013.
Lisa’s RHOBH co-stars sent loving thoughts and prayers to the family in the comments.
“Sending so much love to you and your family. We LOVE Lois ❤️ Heaven has a new angel and you have a guardian angel,” Kyle Richards wrote.
“So sorry Lisa! Sending prayers to you and your family,” Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Storms Beador commented, while Tamra Judge added, “I loved seeing Lois dance on Instagram. Big hugs to you and family.”
