Aussie singer Amy Sheppard has just married her longtime love, Lachlan Stuart.
The newlyweds tied the knot at Airlie Beach on Queensland’s Whitsundays, exchanging vows in a stunning beachside ceremony. The singer then shared a sweet snap of them dancing on the beach as Mr and Mrs.
“The way you kiss me, it says you’re with me. The way you always seem to understand,” she proudly captioned her post.
“Just when to hold me and dance with me slowly, the way you look so proud to hold my hand. It’s everything that’s you that makes me love you like I do. @lachlanstuart.”
The couple were dating for six years before they got engaged in September 2020.
“Changing the band name to “Stuart” 🤣😭💍 11.09.20,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, referring to the indie band she fronts, Sheppard.
Now, one year later, they’ve made their union official. Wedding festivities for the couple began on October 5 when Brisbane-based Sheppard flew into the coastal town for the nuptials.
“Let the wedstival begin! #lachieyourewithamy,” she captioned a cute snap of herself departing Brisbane airport.
On the eve of their wedding, they enjoyed some drinks at the local Northerlies Beach Bar and Grill.
“Feeling all the feels right now. One more sleep until I get to marry to man of my dreams. I love you so much @lachlanstuart …see you down the aisle baby!” she wrote alongside a couple photo.
