Dog the Bounty Hunter‘s wedding to his sixth wife, Francie Frane, was met with threats to “sabotage” his special day.
According to the Daily Mail, security at the intimate ceremony was tightened after an anonymous person threatened to throw paint on Frane’s wedding gown.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, 68, hosted the wedding over Labor Day Weekend, with 100 of his closest friends at The Pinery At The Hill in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In order to avoid any acts of retaliation, security was “beefed up” with “German Shepherds and Navy SEALs,” the Daily Mail revealed.
One guest also claimed, “their car tires had been slashed with razor blades and another said vandals left a ‘mysterious pungent odour’ in their car.”
The threats come after Dog’s daughter Bonnie Chapman accused him of excluding her from the invite list. She told TMZ she and her half-sister Cecily, 28, didn’t make the cut, before calling her father out for racism, homophobia and infidelity. The rift between the family members left many guests suspecting they may have had some involvement with the attempted sabotage.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t defend my Dad’s racism,” Bonnie wrote via Facebook in August. “When it comes to The System on UnleashedTV, my father was fired by the platform for using racial and homophobic epithets toward my fellow cast members on the show, which is about social justice advocacy and protesting violence and racial bias by police. I have expressed time and time again my ever-growing disappointment in my father’s progression into his old racist ways.”
“I had forgiven my father after my mother’s death for countless actions that I shouldn’t have,” she added. “He would cheat on my mom all the time, and I hated him every time he did it, but I forgave him for that because I wanted a relationship with my dad.”
Last month, Dog revealed his plans to get hitched sometime in September.
“I’m getting married,” he told hosts Alan Nevins and Joey Santos on the Two Guys From Hollywood podcast. “We went to the venue, picked it out yesterday, looked at it. Man, it costs a lot to get married.”
He first revealed his relationship with Frane, 52, in March 2020. Their romance came almost 10 months after his wife Beth Chapman, died in June 2019 at the age of 51 following a battle with throat cancer.
Frane’s late husband, Bob, also died of cancer. Dog previously told TMZ how he and Frane connected over the death of their late spouses.
“Francie’s husband passed away over three years ago, Beth passed away over two years ago, and I felt very bad about even wanting to have someone else after Beth,” Dog said on Two Guys From Hollywood. “And then when I went to the Bible, the Genesis, and found out how Adam got Eve, as I was going to find the exact story, I saw the scripture that says, ‘God does not want a man to be alone.'”
